Log In Issues

Why do I need to log in?

        T here are certain areas of our website that should be accessible to Members only, such as the Blog, Chapter and Department address information, email addresses, and other content.

I have tried several times and am not able to log in!

        O ur new website requires that you request a Username and Password. . You only need to submit this request once. Once we have set you up in the system with the correct access levels, you will be responsible for maintaining your password and email address.

I received my new Username and password and it does not work!

        Y es, it does. Your Username needs to be entered correctly but IS NOT case sensitive. Your password, on the other hand, IS case sensitive, and needs to be entered EXACTLY as you receive it in the email.

        T he easiest way to do this is to highlight and copy this password using Windows, and then pasting it into the password box.

How am I supposed to remember a password like that?

        W e recommend that upon your first successful log in with the assigned password, you immediately proceed to the 'Change Your Password' page and change it to something more easily remembered by you. Passwords need to be AT LEAST five characters long AND may contain numbers.

  How will I receive my new password and Username?      

Your new Password will be sent to the email address that we have on file at The Department that you furnished to us. That is why it is so important for you to keep this email address up to date.

I don’t have email. How will I get my password?

We can telephone your Password to you.

I don’t have a computer. How will I use our Website?

You can go to most any library or senior center and use their computer for free. Just log in to www.nmpurpleheart.org.

I attempted to log in but was unsuccessful?

        A t this point, you will need to send us an email to unlock your Username. The system allows five unsuccessful attempts to log in, and then it locks you out. This is by design. Just click on contact us and send your request.
