Dear Chapter Commanders and fellow Patriots,

Welcome to our new web site NMPurpleheart.com. The Department is very excited about having the opportunity to communicate with each of you on a timely and frequent basis for the good of the Order..

You can now view your own calendar and membership information as well as the Department calendar and membership information. You can now to use the Blog to communicate and share ideas with your Department and Chapter officers and fellow Patriots, be sure and check this frequently. Access to this part of the web site will be password protected in the member’s only section.

We believe you will find our site very user friendly and intuitive to use.

Now for some news we can use:

• The State is issuing a new Purple Heart License Plate. You may keep your old one or apply for the new one. All new first time applicants will get the new one or they may order the old one. Stay tuned to the Blog for further details. We will have preference for the first 25 license plate numbers. E-mail me if you have a number 1-25 you would like and we will do our best. There is a State form to be completed.
• Each Chapter Commander, Department Commander, and Sr. and Jr. Vice Department Commander has their own e-mail address on the web site.
• The Fallen Warriors Fund is the Department’s major fund- raiser and we conducted our first golf tournament August 25, 2008 to support the continuation of this worthy cause. It was a success. Please thank and patronize these generous sponsors:
